Almhaug Christmas 2005

 

24 December - Christmas Eve / Julaften

The fields north of Almhaug.

Also looking north. The fields on the previous picture is to the right of the road.

Our house. Not very much snow but sufficient to call it a white Christmas.

I just wanted to add this picture of the local Ottestad garden and flower shop.

Later the Christmas tree is decorated...

...and activities has started in the kitchen.

Meatcakes and the Christmas sausage...

...are served together with the pork ribs, sauerkraut and boiled potatoes.

25 December - Christmas Day / Første Juledag

The birds also get some extra for Christmas.

At the farm Gjermstad Søndre near by they have the flag up.

Nice colours on the sky when the sun is on it's way down early in the afternoon.

Bryndis (the dog) allways likes to go for a walk.
