Vancouver Island - Local Shopping

On Sunday 25th May - after our visit to the Cathedral Grove - Ole and Tulla took us to a local shop in a small village near by. The story was - as I remember it - that the shop started as a vegetable market. The owner - to keep the grass on the roof down - had a goat going up there all summer long. The store then got famous because of the goat and got a lot of visitors. That was a good reason to expand. Well, something like that. If someone know the storey better than my memory can recall the please do not hesitate to send me an email about it.

The store from the outside. No goat there this day though.

Vegetables ouside...

... and vegetables inside.

And a lot of other items as well.

Even Norwegian flatbread ...

... and fishballs were there. One could be homesick by less.

And outside a musicman gave us a welcome back tune.
